Mercy Co-worker on Extreme Makeover -- Watch it on Good Morning America

Washington, Mo. – On Wednesday, Oct. 26, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” will reveal the new home of a St. John’s Mercy co-worker's family. The show is in Joplin this week rebuilding seven homes in seven days, including Kyle and Jill Howard’s home.

WASHINGTON: Obituary: Frances Rowley Ray (November 14, 1931 - October 24, 2011)

Frances L. Rowley Ray, 79, of Washington, Mo., passed away on Mon., Oct. 24, 2011.

Mrs. Rowley is survived by her sons, Doug Rowley and wife Marcia of Washington and Larry Rowley and wife Barbara of Union; 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Frances L. Rowley Ray will be held Wed., Oct. 26, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Oltmann Funeral Home, Washington. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at the Oltmann Funeral Home Chapel. 

Memorials may be given to the Loving Hearts Outreach.

Franklin County Sheriff releases statement on Saturday night's standoff

This past weekend on Saturday at approximately 8:30 PM, the Franklin County Emergency Response Team (ERT) was called to assist New Haven Police with an assault where the suspect was possibly armed and would not respond to attempted contacts at his residence by New Haven Police.
