Shamrocks kick off season opener on Tuesday – Quick glance at this year’s team.

The Shamrocks will be led by their two returning starters, senior point guard Ryan Menke and senior forward Lance Gerlemann.  Coach Ray Steinhoff said, “Both are solid players and a determination to win.”

Update:  Nov 27 - Camp Trinity is the latest business that Sports Network Promotional Products (SPN) has contacted.  Ruth Rethemeyer contacted us yesterday, to inform us that she had received a phone call from SPN on Friday.  Rethemeyer said, “ The caller said the exact same script you had in your article.”  She said she was actually considering the offer; however she said it did not sound just right.

Celebrate a traditional German Christmas at open house Dec. 3 at Deutschheim State Historic Site

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.-- Celebrate a traditional German Christmas and provide your input on Deutschheim State Historic Site in Hermann during December. Weihnachtsfest, the traditional 19th century German Christmas, will be held Dec. 3-4 and Dec. 10-11 at the site's Pommer Gentner House.  The celebration will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and is free and open to the public to attend. At 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, the site will have an open house to seek input from the public.
