Williams Selected ACC Rookie of the Week

DURHAM, N.C. – For the second time over the last three weeks, Duke University freshman Elizabeth Williams has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Rookie of the Week on Monday by a vote of the Blue Ribbon Panel.

Williams averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks on the week as the Blue Devils split their two contests.  The Virginia Beach, Va., native also hit 18-of-24 field goals for a 75.0 field goal percentage.

ANOUNCEMENT: JV Boys and Girls Games on Thursday

The JV boys and girls games on Thur. at Owensville will be played in their middle school gym.

The following night, Friday, both boys and girls varsity games will be played at the high school.  You can tune in and listen live right here on QNHN.

Dieckhaus will not run for re-election

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- State Rep. Scott Dieckhaus, R-Washington, says he will not run for another term in the Missouri House.

New Haven Berger Fire Protection District purchases new equipment

The New Haven-Berger Fire Protection District recently purchased and placed into service two sets of hydraulic rescue tools and 2,000 feet of large diameter hose.
