Woman sentenced to prison for seven years for stealing the identity of her special needs sister

Assistant Chief Tan Terry spoke with QNHN this morning.  Terry said, “Sergeant Meg Parks had began an investigation into Rebecca Cagle who had been suspected of passing bad checks in New Haven.”  Parks quickly learned during her investigation that Cagle did not have a checking account and was in a nursing facility because of her handicap.  During Parks investigation she located a Missouri ID in Cagle’s name however the photo of a female was later identified as Cagle’s sister, Katrina Oldham.
