McCaskill touts local call centers bill

Lady Shamrocks Varsity and JV win home openers tonight.

The Varsity won easily this evening improving their record to 2-1.

The JV team out battled O'Fallon Christian winning in three sets and remaining undefeated on the season. (3-0).

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted two sobriety checkpoints on Friday, August 26, 2011 and are planning on more this weekend.

DHSS cancels contract with SynCare

-- One day after problems with with a medicaid contractor came to a light in a House committee, the state has cancelled its contract.

State Department of Health and Senior Services Margaret Donnnelly,  issued an announcement today that the department had cancelled its contract with SynCare, an Indiana-based health care company. The company had won a contract with the state in January to provide evaluations for Medicaid patients seeking in home care.

Volleyball and Softball Games scheduled start time moved back due to heat

The home volleyball and softball games this evening will not begin until 6 p.m. due to the heat. 

The JV volleyball game will begin at 6 p.m. with the varsity game to follow.
