5th Annual 'Girls With Their Tops Down' convertible cruise raises another $4,000 for the fight

The 5th annual Girls With Their Tops Down parade and fund raiser unofficially took-in about $4,000 yesterday, according to one of the group's officers.

Cross Country team 4th place overall finish -- Best team finish at Hancock in school history

Saturday the Shamrock Cross Country team attacked the difficult and hilly terrain course at Jefferson Barracks, site to the Annual Hancock Invitational. The Rocks ran in the class 1A and 2A race that featured 102 runners and 15 teams.

It was a beautiful day for the 22nd Annual New Haven Balloon Race.


Parade results and Little Mister/Miss Balloon Festival winners - first on QNHN

Citizens Bank's parade float topped them all, taking 1st place in the Balloon Festival Parade.

NEW HAVEN OBITUARY -- Fern C. Juedemann (Dec. 23, 1935 - Sept. 23 2011)

Fern C. Juedemann, 75, of New Haven, Mo passed away Fri., Sept. 23, 2011 at Frene Valley Health Center in Hermann, Mo.

Mrs. Juedemann was born in Washington, Mo on December 23, 1935, the daughter of Walter and Evelyn (Maune) Branson.

Juedemann was preceded in death by late husband Lon E. (Red) Juedemann. They were married on June 27, 1959 in St. Louis, Mo.

Juedemann was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and American Legion Auxiliary in New Haven, Mo.

Junior Varsity undefeated season comes to an end -- Varsity rebounded beating Sullivan

Sullivan, Mo:  The JV's undefeated season came to an end tonight at the hands of the Sullivan Eagles. The match went three sets.  The Eagles won the first set 25-23, Shamrocks came back winning the second 20-25, and the Eagles won the third set and the match. 25-14.

The Varsity rebounded after Tuesday night's loss to Hermann, defeating Sullivan in straight sets. (12-25, 12-25).
