BREAKING NEWS: Missing girl has been found alive - Medically will be just fine

UPDATE: Sunday 10/14/12, 8:00 a.m. -
Washington, Mo. – The 11-year-old Maria Huber was found alive Thursday afternoon in a ravine near Jones Lane and Highway 100.  She was then transported by Washington EMS to Mercy Hospital-Washington.

Linn's Tylor Rush a running machine determined to break 16

Tyler Rush led from start to finish to win the Owensville Cross-Country Invitational, crushing the course record.

Owensville, Mo. – Forget the fact Tyler Rush (Linn High School) smashed the course record, won by 53 seconds, and a career best of 16:02.44. in Tuesday’s Owensville Cross-Country Invitational.  That was not on his mind.  Rush’s focus was to achieve one thing, run under 16 minutes. 

Tobacco free policy will go into effect Jan. 1, 2013 at ECC

At their October meeting, ECC trustees received an update on the tobacco free policy which will go into effect January 1, 2013.

Cookie Hays, vice president of student development, and Judy Bieker, associate professor of nursing, are co-chairing the committee charged with implementing the new policy.
