New Haven/Berger Fire Department takes part in National Fire Prevention Week

New Haven, Mo. – The New Haven/Berger Fire Department (NHBFD) will once again participate in National Fire Prevention Week.(Oct. 7 - Oct. 13)

For over 20 years the NHBFD has joined fire departments from across the United States in promoting fire safety within their communities.

The non-profit fire safety organization is reminding the public to, “Have 2 Ways Out”, the theme for this year’s effort which focuses on the importance of having multiple escape routes in the event of a fire.  Click here for tips and reminders of actions parents should take within their homes as well as what to tell their children.

Oct. 10 final day for voter registration

— Missourians hoping to file for or update their voter registration have until close of business on Wednesday to do so.
