Rate hike for Ameren customers - Average $10 increase per month

If you’re an Ameren Missouri customer, your bill is about to go up. The Missouri Public Service Commission has granted the utility a 260-million dollar rate increase for Ameren’s electric customers.

That figures out to about ten dollars a month for an average residential customer.

There are plenty of people who have made their predictions based on this, that, and the other about what will happen or if will we all turn into some type of animal; maybe 12 different types. I took 12 minutes to search the web to find out why there is so much hype over today’s date.

St. James remains perfect sneaking past New Haven 41-38

New Haven, Mo. – St. James entered Monday night’s Four Rivers Conference season opener undefeated.

New Haven improved to 5-1 after knocking of South Callaway 50-29 last Thursday.

New Haven ended the first half with a one-point lead, 20-19, holding St. James to a season low for points scored in the first half.

However St. James eventually took advantage after forcing the Lady Rocks into a season high 24 turnovers to squeeze out their eighth win, keeping their perfect record intact, 41-38. The Lady Rocks out rebounded St. James with a season high 34 boards to St. James’s nine.
