National Junior Honor Society inducts 13 members

Pictured above are current NJHS members and the 13 students that were inducted.

New Haven’s National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) held this year’s induction ceremony last Friday.  The ceremony began with opening remarks from Julie Westermeyer, sponsor, explaining the many activities that the NJHS has done throughout the year.

Robertsville man steals neighbor's guns with intention of shooting

On February 15, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a Franklin County Deputy responded to a residence located in the 6000 block of Hwy O in reference to a burglary.  The home owner reported coming home finding a broken window and weapons with ammunition missing from his residence.

Sheriff's office investigating alleged sexual assault by a Union teacher

Union, Mo - The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Union Police Department are conducting an investigation related to allegations of a sexual assault involving a Union Middle School student and teacher.

Facebook message is not TRUE - No such events have occurred

Apparently there is a post by an unknown individual on Facebook about a blue minivan traveling around the area, stopping at homes and asking to clean their carpets.  The Facebook post goes on to state these individuals are “beating people up”. This is not true according to officials.

Franklin County Fair Queen Contest Application Released
