QUICK THOUGHT: I have the right to vote?

Men and Women risk their lives everyday defending and protecting “the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of press, as well as the right to assemble and petition the government”.

Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting.”

Expect a $2,634 tax hike barring action by Congress, think tank says

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — If the existing federal tax cuts expire, American taxpayers will see their taxes rise by $494 billion.

The average Missourian will pay an extra $2,634 in taxes next year, if Congress does not extend the decade-long tax cuts, the Heritage Foundation reports.
