JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Watkins Mill State Park and Lake of the Ozarks State Park’s Grand Glaize swimming beaches are closed due to water quality issues according to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.

Heavy rainfall expected due to effects of Hurricane Isaac


St. Louis -
According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, Mo., heavy rainfall is likely this holiday weekend.

The remnants of Hurricane Isaac are forecast to move across the region over Labor Day weekend.  The rain may be heavy at times on Friday night and Saturday as the center of the Tropical system moves northeast across Missouri and Illinois.
