Borgia downs New Haven in two sets - JV's winning streak ends

Washington, Mo. – Monday night’s match had a different story ending compared to a year ago when New Haven upset Borgia for the first time in 27 years.  Monday night Borgia also ended the JV’s perfect 12-0 record in two sets.

Coach Brad Bruns said, “Last year’s loss at New Haven effected a lot of the girls on the team and one thing was they did not what that to happen again.”

Stony Hill, Mo. – Earlier this month on Sat. Sept. 8th family and friends of the late Vietnam Veteran Allen Hale held the 5th Annual Clay Bird Shoot Benefit at the Stony Hill Gun Club.  Along with the annual clay bird-shooting contest, a 3-D Archery shoot competition was added.
