Cross Country team continues making big strides

New Haven, Mo. – New Haven’s Cross Country team has silently been leaving everyone in their tracks and is continuously getting better.

This past weekend, the boy’s team ran in the 50th Annual Hancock Cross Country Invitational at Jefferson Barracks, which is one of the largest and most premier meets across the state.

News Consumption of Political Stories Not Enough to Retain Political Knowledge‏

COLUMBIA, Mo. ­—A strong democracy depends on smart voters who choose their leaders based on their knowledge of important political issues. One of the ways that Americans learn about politics is by following the news.

Now, researchers from the University of Missouri School of Journalism have found that simply following the news is not enough.

OBITUARY: HERMANN: Mildred G. Buschmeyer (March 24, 1925 - September 26, 2012)

Mildred G. Buschmeyer, 87, of Hermann, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Frene Valley Health Center.

Mrs. Buschmeyer was born in Hermann, Mo. on March 24, 1925, the daughter of the late Louis & Elizabeth (Brandt) Gaertner.

She was the widow of Edwin Buschmeyer and were married  on May 24, 1944 at Gerald, Mo.

Mildred was a member of Swiss Evangelical Reformed Church, Swiss, Mo. and of the Hermann VFW Auxiliary.

New Haven gets rematch with Borgia - Hermann Volleyball Tuesday night results

Hermann, Mo. - Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Hermann Volleyball Tournament New Haven will get their chance to rectify their loss to Borgia, which happened only one week ago.
