Newest member of Peoples Savings Bank Senior Management Team

Kyle Williams is the newest member of the Peoples Savings Bank Senior Management Team. He joined PSB in July of 2012 as a Vice President/Controller.

Kyle grew up in Cassville, in southwest Missouri and has extensive banking experience of 20 years.

Matt Compton, The White House - President Obama made his way to St. John's Parish in Louisiana to take in the damage from Hurricane Isaac and meet with officials responding to the disaster yesterday.

New Haven Garden Club fall cleanup Sept. 11

The New Haven Garden Club is scheduling its fall cleanup of the downtown garden Tuesday, Sept 11, from 4:00 P.M.

Residents of the community are invited to join garden club members in the cleanup project which is being coordinated by Carol Bell.  Please bring your own implements:  trowels, shovels, weeders, clippers, trimmers.  Plastic bags will be provided.

Smartphone App Can Track Objects On the Battlefield as Well as On the Sports Field

COLUMBIA, Mo. — University of Missouri researchers have developed new software using smartphones’ GPS and imaging abilities that determine the exact location of distant objects as well as monitor the speed and direction of moving objects.  The software could eventually allow smartphone-armed soldiers to target the location of their enemies.
