Dave Scheer named to Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame

During the past 25 years, Coach Dave Scheer has been the head baseball coach for the Union Wildcats.  Scheer has compiled a career record of 260-201 and is one of 20 coaches to have compiled more than 250 career wins.

Department of Natural Resources sponsoring mercury drop-off sites in St. Louis area‏

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., FEB. 1, 2012 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is launching a statewide roundup to rid homes of mercury, sponsoring nearly 50 mercury drop-off locations throughout the state, including four in the St. Louis area.

High speed pursuit - deputies successfully apprehend suspect

St. Clair, Mo. - Yesterday evening, around 9:30 p.m., a Franklin County Deputy was working tracking enforcement on Highway 30 in the area of the Meramec River.  The deputy noticed a passing vehicle that had invalid license plates.

3:43 - Great News! Male subject has been located.  Subject had no injuries and is perfectly fine.

Thank you to all those who called and offered their assistance.  Since the initial report came in, we have been stationed with New Haven officers and communicating back and fourth to provide the most up to the second information.

2:55 P.M. - Male subject's first name is Harvey.  Again, subject suffers from Alzheimers.  Anyone wanting to help please call 636 359 1018.

Update: East Central College email hacked – fraudulent email sent to student body

Some students are continuing to receive fake campus emails from the deadfake website.  However, it does not appear the staff or student email systems were hacked or breached.
