St. Clair, MO - On August 4, 2012 at approximately 2:35pm, Franklin County Dispatch received a 911 call from Paradise Mobile Home Court indicating a female had been assaulted and she was injured. 

Catfight breaks out during Gretchen Wilson concert

Washington, Mo. – During Fri. night’s concert a fight broke out between two ladies in the middle of the crowd.  Police officers quickly made their way through the crowd, preventing the incident from escalating any further.

13-year-old steals vehicle causes crash killing 17-year-old Aubrey Nothum

Washington, Mo. – Early Friday morning, around 12:04 a.m., a Franklin County deputy was traveling away from Washington south on Highway 47 when he passed a vehicle traveling north towards Washington.

The deputy noticed the vehicle traveling at a slow rate of speed, crossing the shoulder line on the right side of the Highway.  The deputy suspected the driver might have been intoxicated.  The deputy turned around and attempted to make a traffic stop when the vehicle began fleeing the police car.  As the vehicle entered the city of Washington, the driver accelerated her speed.

Police request help in locating trailer-nabbing thieves

New Haven, Mo – Assistant Police Chief, Dan Terry told QNHN this morning that “Sometime between 5 p.m. on Fri. and 12 p.m. on Saturday  a large truck stole a orange box trailer from the lot of Haines Finishing, located on East Industrial Drive.”

The trailer was being used for storage.  Terry said, “The estimated value of content being stored along with the trailer has a value in excess of $7,000.”

BREAKING NEWS: Makayla and Cienanna Kosatka Located in Bland, MO

Thursday July 12
Gerald, Mo.
- Wednesday night at approximately 7:30 p.m. both Makayla and Cienanna Kosatka were located unharmed.   Authorities located the girls in the city of Bland based on a tip from a witness.

Further investigation is being conducted.

Chief Tommie Lowe would like to thank the media and citizens for their assistance in getting the word out to the public leading to their safe return.

Gerald Police Chief Tommie Lowe spoke with us a few moments ago about a third report they just received.

Lowe said, "We have received a third report that Makayla and Cienanna Kosatka were seen Monday morning near the intersection of Old Highway 50 and Highway 50, just east of Gerald, Mo."

Chief Lowe said, “We had a third person report seeing the same dark blue car.  This person witnessed both girls climb into the car and head east on Highway 50."

Gerald, MoMakayla and Cienanna Kosatka remain missing Tuesday evening after leaving their residence Monday morning.  We have been in continuous contact with authorities and spoke with Lieutenant TJ Heidbreder with the Gerald Police Department late this afternoon.

18 year old male arrested for sexual misconduct

New Haven, Mo. – Last week on Wednesday, May 16, Sergeant, Meg Parks, of the New Haven Police Department began investigating a report of sexual misconduct in the Maupin St. area.

During Sergeant Parks’ investigation it was determined that an 18-year-old male, an acquaintance of the family, had sexual offended two girls under the age of 12.

Shots fired into house with 9 year old inside

St. Clair, Mo - Sunday evening at approximately 5:03 p.m. Franklin County Deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the 1000 block of Hwy K for a report of shots fired into a residence.

Another unlocked vehicle stolen with keys in it

New Haven, Mo. - Early Friday morning at approximately 5 a.m., Chief John Sheible responded to the 500 block of Maupin Street in reference to a stolen vehicle.

Sheible discovered the vehicle, a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, had been stolen during the overnight hours.

Police find parts of a methamphetamine lab in vehicle during traffic stop

New Haven, Mo - Saturday night officer David Burke pulled over a white Pontiac passenger car after he observed the vehicle making a wide turn onto Circle Drive, causing the vehicle to drive in the wrong lane.

Officer Justin Pewitt responded to Burke’s location to assist.
