Sheriff's office investigating alleged sexual assault by a Union teacher

Union, Mo - The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Union Police Department are conducting an investigation related to allegations of a sexual assault involving a Union Middle School student and teacher.

Female speeds off in car, male flees on foot

Stanton, Mo - On Saturday, a Franklin County Deputy was responding to a house alarm on Spring Creek Road. While in route, the deputy approached the intersection of Highway JJ, Lollar Branch, and Spring Creek Road when he observed a small four-door car driving on Spring Creek Road towards his location.

UPDATE: Missing 14-year-old girl found at Milwaukee Hospital

Mon. Feb., 13 - According to authorities Brittany Jones was found late Sunday at a Milwaukee hospital after a S.A.R.A.A alert had been issued when her non-custodial father allegedly took her from Cardinal Glennon Hospital yesterday afternoon.

Police say the teen underwent a kidney transplant at Cardinal Glennon in 2010, and has recently been having some complications. They learned about the missing patient from hospital staff just after 2:00 p.m. yesterday.

Female leaves two year old alone while going to a bar

Washington, MO. - Early yesterday morning at approximately 2 a.m., Franklin County Deputies responded to the Julie Lane Apartments in Washington, Mo for a peace disturbance between a male and female who were arguing outside.

Deputies determined both subjects had been drinking at a bar in Washington where the argument had reportedly began.

High speed pursuit - deputies successfully apprehend suspect

St. Clair, Mo. - Yesterday evening, around 9:30 p.m., a Franklin County Deputy was working tracking enforcement on Highway 30 in the area of the Meramec River.  The deputy noticed a passing vehicle that had invalid license plates.

Male suspect flees deputies - Drives off cliff into Meramec River

St. Clair, Mo. - Saturday, Franklin County Deputies responded to the area of Friendship Park near Highway PP and Plum Ford Road approximately 16 miles east of St. Clair for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

When deputies arrived three suspects fled the scene, two of them on foot and one in a vehicle.

White GMC Jimmy weaves in and out of traffic waving gun out the window.

Vilia Ridge, Mo. Yesterday afternoon at approximately 1:09 p.m. the Franklin County Sheriff's Department received a report of a white GMC Jimmy weaving in and out of traffic.

The reporting party stated that he was traveling on Highway 100 near Highway M when he observed the white GMC Jimmy weaving through traffic.

Deputies find 16-month-old during meth bust in Pacific.

Pacific, Mo. - Yesterday afternoon (Sunday) Franklin County Deputies responded for a report of a possible meth lab at a residence in Pacific Summit Estates.  When deputies arrived they noticed a strong odor, commonly associated with production of methamphetamine.

After deputies made entry into the residence, contact was made with four adults along with a 16-month-old child that was located inside as well.  Deputies did locate a meth lab inside the residence.

Two teens responsible for burglery spree.

Villa Ridge, Mo. - On Tues., Dec. 13 at approximately 5:00 p.m., Deputies responded to a residence on Goodes Mill Road near Villa Ridge for a report of a burglery.

The reporting party told deputies that after coming home a door was open to the residence and items missing from inside.  The Sheriff’s Office had received prior reports of burglaries in that area.

Protect your purse while you're at church - Female snatches purses from Lighthouse Baptist Church

Villa Ridge, Mo – Sunday deputies with Franklin County responded to the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Villa Ridge located on highway M for a report of a female having her purse stolen.

Stabbing Leaves Male Subject with Severe Injuries.

Robertsville, Mo. – Last night at approximately 8:25 p.m. Franklin County Deputies responded to the 1000 block of Osage Parkway for a stabbing.  When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered there had been a domestic dispute between two individuals.

During the argument, the female stabbed the male several times in his back, causing severe injuries and excessive amount of blood loss.  He was flown from the scene to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur, Mo.

Villa Ridge Mo. - Yesterday evening at approximately 5 p.m., the Franklin County Sheriff's Office received a report of a chemical odor in the area of Pacific Summit Estates, Villa Ridge Mo.

New Haven man arrested today for manufacturing of meth

St. Clair, Mo -- Earlier today, a Franklin County Deputy was serving a civil paper to a residence on Nappier Road, located four miles south of St. Clair off of Highway K, when he noticed a white male sitting inside a vehicle in the driveway.  The deputy also noticed a chemical smell associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Domestic assault ends up in female accidentally shooting male in foot

Unioin, Mo. -- This morning at approximately 2:00 AM, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Mercy Hospital in Washington in reference to a subject with a gunshot wound.  Deputies responded to Mercy.  The victim told deputies that he was cleaning a handgun when it discharged and struck him in the foot.

Car crashes after spotted traveling 84 mph by deputy -- driver hides in wooded area

Union Mo. -- Last night at approximately 6:00 p.m., a Franklin County Deputy was traveling north on Hwy A, leaving the city limits of Union when he met a speeding vehicle traveling south.  The deputy clocked the passing vehicle at 84 miles per hour; before he was able to turn his patrol car around the vehicle was out of sight.


Female escapes by using knife to stab suspect in hand while being choked

New Haven Police Officer Rob Kuhlmann responded for a report of an assault Sat., Oct. 22 at approximately 6 a.m. in the 900 block on Olive Street. When Kuhlmann arrived a male subject was standing outside of the residence bleeding from his hand.  The male subject stated that his sister had stabbed him.  EMS was requested to the scene and off duty officers; Sgt. Meg Parks and officer David Burke also responded to assist.

Franklin County Sheriff releases statement on Saturday night's standoff

This past weekend on Saturday at approximately 8:30 PM, the Franklin County Emergency Response Team (ERT) was called to assist New Haven Police with an assault where the suspect was possibly armed and would not respond to attempted contacts at his residence by New Haven Police.
