Female ejected from motorcycle

Berger, Mo. – Earlier this afternoon a 52-year-old female passenger was ejected from a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

A month after Highway KK blaze fire - Fire crews respond for debris that had rekindled

New Haven, Mo. – Nearly one month (June 28) to the day when over 100 firefighters battled the blaze on Highway KK, New Haven/Berger Fire responded to that same location Friday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. for a report of smoke in the area.

It's happened again - Female electrocuted while swimming at the Lake

On Saturday for the second time in three days another person was electrocuted while swimming at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Ungrounded electricity entering the water from a boat dock caused a shock that has killed a Hazelwood woman.  Jennifer Lankford, 26-years-old, was swimming Saturday at the Lake when electric current shocked and killed her.

Alert driver prevents roadside fire from turning into large brush fire

Bystanders were using buckets of water trying to prevent the fire from spreading into a large field off the right.

New Haven, Mo – Thanks to an alert driver, Saturday afternoon’s brush fire could have been much worse.

New Haven/Berger Fire Department responded to the 1300 block of Boeuf Creek Road Saturday afternoon at 2:02 p.m. for a brush fire.

Three killed in car crashes, one drowning, and two electrocuted on July 4th Holiday

Three were killed in vehicle crash, two kids were electrocuted while swimming, and one adult drowned at Bull Shoals Lake.  All five deaths occurred on July 4th.

Terry L.  Daugherty, 37, of Bourbon, MO, died when the vehicle he was driving travelled off the left side of the roadway in a curve and struck a traffic sign.

Truck overturns causing fuel to leak on highway

Truck overturned on Highway VV after attempting to make a right turn off of Highway 100.

Berger, Mo – Wednesday morning at 9:56 a.m. New Haven/Berger Fire Crews responded to the intersection of Highway VV and Highway 100 for fuel leaking from an overturned truck.

Gerald, Mo. - Gerald/Rosebud and Beaufort/Leslie Firefighters prevented what could have been a catastrophic brush fire from spreading through a thick wooded area.

BREAKING NEWS: Third Alarm Fire

UPDATE Jun 28, 1:50 a.m. -Six hours after New Haven/Berger's first crew arrived on the scene of Wed. evening’s fire, crews cleared the scene, leaving at 1:30 a.m.

Fire officials said the 500 round hay bales continue to burn however; they are contained within the barn and will most likely burn for days.

8 Fire departments tackle second alarm blaze

Union, Mo. – Friday afternoon, firefighters from eight departments battled a two-alarm blaze in the 4800 block of Highway V, approximately 6.5 miles southeast of Union.

New Haven, Mo. – Saturday night at 10:22 p.m. New Haven/Berger Fire Department and New Haven EMS responded for a vehicle crash in the area of Highway 100 and Coulters Landing, approximately 3.5 miles east of New Haven.

New Haven, Mo - The New Haven Fire Department responded at 3:15 p.m. this afternoon for a brush fire in the area of Highway E and Drake School Road, approximately 1.5 miles south of Stonyhill.

Female falls asleep while floating on river

Sullivan, Mo - Saturday night at approximately 9 p.m., the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department received a report that a 53-year old female had gone missing after she had been floating alone on the Meramec River.

Sullivan Fire Department’s dive team responded to assist deputies in their search as well as a reserve deputy who flew a helicopter

Beaufort, Mo – Wednesday's tragic accident has now taken the lives of both drivers. Elizabeth Tuschoff, 42, from Leslie, Mo. had been air lifted from the scene by ARCH helicopter and transported to Mercy Medial Center.
