Stone Hill Winery announces first Vineyard Days

CNL Newsroom
Stone Hill Winery announces a new addition to its summer fun lineup. Join the fun for Vineyard Days, August 6 and 7, for an educational look at mechanized vineyard equipment and the techniques behind the winery’s grape-growing success and, ultimately, its winemaking success.

For Stone Hill’s first Vineyard Days, state-of-the-art mechanized vineyard equipment will be displayed on the winery grounds. Visitors can get an up-close look at the harvester, as well as other specialized equipment used in day-to-day vineyard operations.

Also on display will be informational panels filled with images and technical details of not only harvest but the year-round vineyard maintenance required for a successful one. Knowledgeable staff members will be available to explain grapegrowing and harvest fundamentals, answer questions about the equipment and even operate the equipment to offer a realistic view of how things actually function in the vineyard.

Vineyard Days will take place at Stone Hill Winery in Hermann, Missouri, on Saturday, August 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, August 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

In addition to Vineyard Days, Stone Hill Winery will also feature live music on Saturday, August 6, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Performing will be Mike and Janelle, a rock’n blues duo from New Haven, Missouri.
