2012 New Haven Homecoming Queen and Court (updated)

Congratulations to the newly crowned New Haven High School Homecoming Queen, Clara Albers.

Clara is the daughter of Carl and Jana Albers.  Clara stays busy with volleyball, cheerleading, FCA, FBLA, National Honor Society, marching band, managing the track and field team, and being the junior class president.  When Clara isn’t busy with these activities, she enjoys singing, playing the piano, and taking road trips in her Ford Explorer, “Hank”.  Clara’s favorite foods are Jack-in-the-Box tacos and Japanese cuisine.  After graduation, Clara plans to attend college pursuing a degree in either fashion or graphic design.  Clara was a Junior Class Candidate. 

 

The First Runner-Up was Hannah Kassebaum, a Sophomore Class Candidate.  Hannah is the daughter of David and Laura Kassebaum.  Hannah is a member of the volleyball team and the cheerleading squad.  Hannah also participates in marching, concert, and pep bands, track, FBLA, FCA, and STUCO.  Hannah enjoys singing, drawing, and playing the piano.  After high school, Hannah plans to attend college to become an architect or interior designer.  Hannah was escorted by Seth Schenk.

 

The Second Runner-Up was Kayla Borcherding, a Freshman Class Candidate.  Kayla is the daughter of Jeff Borcherding and Heather Vedder.  Kayla is a member of NHHS’s volleyball and basketball teams.  She is also a member of “Mid-State Force” select volleyball.  Kayla participates in FBLA, FCCLA, and FCA.  She enjoys swimming, fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.  Kayla’s future plans include getting her drivers’ license, play on the next shamrock volleyball State Championship Team, and head to college after graduation.  Kayla was escorted by Charlie Tritch.
