22-year-old crashes and overturns car

Leslie, Mo. – Monday night at 8:55 p.m. Beaufort/Leslie Fire and Gerald EMS responded to a car crash on Ebenezer Road, one mile south of Highway YY.

When emergency crews arrived, they found one vehicle upside down, off the right side of the roadway in the ditch.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 22-year-old Leah Mustain of New Haven was transported by Gerald EMS to Mercy Hospital-Washington with moderate injuries after crashing into the ditch.

Mustain was driving a 1991 Chrysler Lebaron southbound on Ebenezer Road when she failed to negotiate a curve, causing her to travel off the right side of the highway, smashing into a ditch, and rolling her car.

Mustain was not wearing a safety device.
