Ballwin woman swerves to miss deer near New Haven, sustains moderate injuries in crash

Linda J. Prindiville, 66, of Ballwin, MO was moderately injured in a one vehicle accident on Highway E, west of Highway Y just after 12 p.m. today.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ms. Prindiville was traveling westbound on Highway E and swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway, causing her 2007 Toyota Prius to travel to the south side of the roadway and down an embankment before striking a tree, totaling the vehicle.  She was taken by New Haven Ambulance to Mercy Hospital - Washington.

Ms. Prindiville was wearing a safety device in the crash.
