Beaufort teen severely injured in weather related accident

A Beaufort teen and a Gerald resident were involved in a two-vehicle, weather related accident on Hwy 185, 1.2 miles south of Hwy. 50 in Beaufort at 7:10 p.m. on Mon., Feb. 13, 2012. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, David P. Lyndemeyer, 34 of Gerald, was northbound on Hwy. 185 when Zachary W. Wildhaber, 17 of Gerald, crossed the center line of the snow covered roadway.  The front of Wildhaber’s vehicle struck the front of Lyndemeyer’s vehicle. 

Wildhaber sustained serious injuries and was transported by Gerald ambulance to Mercy hospital.  Lyndemeyer was uninjured in the accident.
