BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: New information just released - Two girls reported missing from Gerald, Mo

Gerald, Mo - 8:47 p.m.
The following information was just released by Gerald Police Officials moments ago after we spoke with them.

The two sisters left on foot and may have been seen heading east on US Highway 50 about 1 mile outside the Gerald city limits, both with backpacks.

Clothing descriptions are unavailable.  The two may be headed to the St. Peters area to meet with friends they met through Facebook. 


8:24 p.m. According to the Gerald Police Department, Monday afternoon a report was received that two girls, age 14 and 12 were missing from their home.

Makayla Kosatka, 14-years old and Cienanna Kosatka, 12-years-old, were last seen at 9 a.m.  When their mother left this morning, they were still at their residence in the 300 block of East Springfield in Gerald, Mo.

Foul play is not suspected at this time, officials simply want to make sure both girls are safe.
