The Beaufort Leo Club will be holding a community-wide garage sale on Saturday, July 16 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Beaufort Lions Club Hall. The community is invited to attend to browse the booths and purchase their wonderful finds.

This is a great opportunity for those wanting to have a garage sale on their own but don’t have the time to organize one; the advertising is already being done for you and it is in an air-conditioned building. Cost for an 8’ x 2 1⁄2’ table is only $10 and proceeds of the booth cost will benefit the Leo Club’s Back to School Supply Drive. There will also be refreshments for sale.

The Leo Club is a community service organization for children ages 12-18. QNHN spoke with the Beaufort Leo Club’s President, Zach Boyer; he is organizing the garage sale. The Beaufort Leo Club has six members and is currently accepting applications for new members; members do not have to be from Beaufort. The objective of the club is, “to provide the youth of the world with an opportunity for development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national and international community”. Leo is an acronym for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity.

For more information on reserving a table or having your child get involved with the community service organization, call Leo Club President, Zach Boyer at (573) 484-3350. The National Leo website can be found by clicking here.
