Conner receives 5th annual Langenberg Family Scholarship

New Haven High School Counselor, Doug Peirick, presents Kim Conner, recipient of the $5000 Howard Langeberg Family Scholarship.

Kimberlee Conner was the recipient of the 5th annual Howard Langenberg Family Scholarship at the 2012 commencement exercises at New Haven High School.  Kim is the daughter of James and Julie Conner of New Haven.

The Langenberg family set up the scholarship fund to give the students at New Haven High school the opportunity to continue their education at a community college, college or university that leads to an academic degree.  The scholarship is worth $5000 and is payable over a four year period.

Kim was president of his FBLA, National Honor Society vice president, a member of the FCCLA, FCA, Student Council, and the Spanish Club.  She played basketball for four years, volleyball for three years, and softball for one year.  Kim also volunteered for many activities in her church.

Kim is planning on continuing her education at the Missouri State University in Springfield where she plans to pursue a degree in Business.
