Local Author Dan Terry latest book, River Shadow: Ghosts and Legends of America's River Towns, has been released just in time for Halloween! Combining police techniques with scientific equipment, Terry has researched the ghosts of river towns in Mid-‐America. Convinced that paranormal activity is strongest in river towns, he brings us the stories behind the ghosts, providing the historical background of the hauntings described.

This is Terry's fourth book. His earlier books, Beyond the Shadows: Exploring the Ghosts of Franklin County; Missouri Shadows: A Journey Through the Lesser Known, the Famous and the Infamous Haunts of Missouri; and Hermann Shadows: Ghosts in the Heart of Wine Country, have enthralled readers across the nation.
