After 43 years of cheerfully greeting Peoples Savings Bank customers, Dolores Grotewiel will be retiring on December 31, 2011.   Shown above,  Dolores receives a watch, to commemorate her retirement, from Mark Laune, Peoples Savings Bank CEO and President.  Laune commented, “Dolores has been a dedicated employee.  Her cheerfulness and her desire to work with the customers and employees made her well known throughout all the communities we serve.  I know our customers and employees are going to miss her pleasant demeanor after the first of the year”.

Dolores started with the bank in 1968 and has seen many changes in banking and the communities the Ban serves in that time.

She started in the original small brick building in Rhineland and moved to the new location (now torn down) in 1973.  After the floods she started working at the Hermann Branch in 1995.  For the last year she has returned to her “roots” and has been again working in the Rhineland Branch.  During her 43 years at Peoples Savings Bank there have been 5 Chief Executive Officers as well as many employees who have started and retired during her tenure.

You can stop by PSB’s Rhineland Branch to visit with Dolores and wish her well through the end of the year.
