QNHN's Kyle Quick caught up with retiring Washington Town and Country Fair Queen Stephanie Sullentrup this afternoon during her final hours of being a member of local royalty.

Sullentrup was delighted to share with QNHN her favorite part of being Fair Queen, "it has been a lot of fun, really an awesome experience.  It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I have met some really amazing people and made amazing relationships."

When asked what one of the coolest experiences overall she has had as queen, Sullentrup indicated that simply experiencing the fair from a different perspective has given her a greater appreciation for the fair.

Sullentrup’s retiring Queen Speech will consist of sending out thanks to all those who have helped her in her journey as queen, how much she has enjoyed being queen, and a bit of advice for the new Queen and Court, “live up every moment of the fair, it will be the best time of your life”.

QNHN will feature full coverage of this evening’s Washington Town and Country Fair Queen Pageant.  Be sure to check back for the announcement of tonight’s winners.
