After the meet Coach John Tucker was very pleased with how they had ran especially with having their top three runners finishing in the top 10.

Tucker said, “We had experimented earlier in the season with different strategies in each race. The past three races we have stuck with the same plan and I think it is really starting to show…the past three races we’ve ran our best times.”

Coach Tucker has also changed the team’s workouts.  “I think the training is starting to payoff and when I see times improving each race, our training is beginning to pay off.”

New Haven’s middle school added to the shamrocks combined medal count with Abbey Grater taking 4th and Lucy Roth finishing in 18th.

Kyle Brumels and Justin Shockley came in 13th and 16th place picking up two more medals and a combined total of 9 shamrocks who medaled.
