Henniges to announce 200 new jobs

New Haven, Mo.Gov. Jay Nixon will be in New Haven, Mo. later this afternoon to announce plans for a $5 million investment by a local auto parts manufacturer, and the significant expansion and new jobs the investment will bring.

The Governor will make the announcement at the manufacturing facility of Henniges Automotive, where company and city leadership will join him.

Henniges’s expiation is do a money-spinning, multi-year contract to make rubber parts for General Motors; models like the Silverado and Sierra trucks, Cadillac Escalade and Chevy Suburban. 

The factory plans to start hiring the first phase of the 200 new employees in December or January.

QuickNewHavenNews spoke with a Henniges spokesman who said that most of the jobs will be for entry level production technicians with no previous experience in this field required and an average salary in the $25,000 to $30,000 range.
