Linn, Mo. -- The Volleyball’s JV have been on a tear since the start of the season.  They do not have one or two players who stand out from the rest; instead they have a great team.

This past Friday the Lady Rocks took first place in the Linn Tournament.  Defeating Eugene 25-12, 25-28 in their first match.

Meghan Brown and Hannah Kassebaum lead the team with 10 service points.  Katie Peirick smashed five kills and Olivia Fleer four.

The Lady Rocks took care of business in the champion ship game, sending Chamois home with a second place trophy defeating them in two sets 25-15, 25-15.

Brown lead the Rocks again with 13 service points and Taylor Covington lead with seven kills.  Emily Kallmeyer had a double nickel in services points and kills.  Peirick added two kills and three service points and Tessa Kelsick and Megan Shockley throwing down a kill.

Looking at the team’s stats it is easy to see how well they play together as a team.  It is not about who has the most kills or serves the most points, it is all about holding the first place trophy and the feeling of accomplishment.

Congratulations Lady Shamrocks on your Tournament Championship.
