During last month’s meeting, the New Haven School Board offered Superintendent, Kyle Kruse a one-year extension on his current three-year contract, which he happily accepted.

New Haven School Board President, Brenda Menke said, “Mr. Kruse has done a great job.  His leadership, especially in the area of funding and finances, has ensured that the New Haven School District has excelled during the financial difficulties faced by all school districts the last several years. The board of education is pleased that he has accepted a one-year extension to his current contract.”

The school board hired Kruse in 2004.  Kruse said that he and his family love living in New Haven.  Kruse said, “My family and I am grateful and appreciate the extension on my contract.”

With the one-year extension, Kruse’s contract will last through the 2014-2015 school year.
