Lady Shamrocks knock off Chamois and Montgomery – JV remains undefeated

Chamois, Mo. – The Lady Rocks came back after losing the first set, committing a total of 22 errors in the set, to defeat Chamois 25-23, 18-25, 19-25.

Kelsey Pecaut served a team high eight points and four aces as well as adding five kills leading the lady rocks to their third straight win.

Blake Willimann and Megan Bauer had a combined 24 assists and Elise McDonald smashed a team high nine kills.

The Lady Rocks came out sluggish in the first set committing unforced errors and making too many mental mistakes.  The Lady Rocks rebounded in the second and third sets to sneak away with the win.

The Lady Rocks JV girls kept their undefeated streak alive, lead by Emily Kallmeyer’s 13 service points and Hannah Kassebamm serving eight points.

The JV have only lost one set in their first five games with three of their starters being Freshmen.  Kallmeyer a sophomore, has been instrumental in her leadership roll and performance helping the Rocks off to a great start.



Montgomery City, Mo.
– The Lady Rocks had a clean sweep at Montgomery with all three teams winning.  The freshmen team won in three sets 11-25, 25-18, 22-25 and both the Varsity and JV came away with easy wins defeating Montgomer in two sets.

The Varsity’s win last night 12-25, 14-25, improved their overall record to 4-1.

The JV’s win last night (10-25, 15-20) kept them undefeated on the season

The Lady Rocks will be making the three hour trip today to Cape Girardeau where they will play in this weekends Annual SEMO High School Volleyball tournament, which will feature some of the best teams across the state.  QNHN will be making the trip down this afternoon to deliver live coverage of the Lady Rocks two games tonight. The Junior Varsity will take their undefeated record to compete in the Linn Volleyball Tournament.
