This past week, local veterans were honored by New Haven High School and Elementary on Friday morning, and by R-II students Wednesday morning.

Friday morning, veterans were served breakfast by New Haven High School's Student Council.

While visiting with veterans, one of them told us, “It’s very nice the schools do this each year.  I hope they know how much we all appreciate it.”

After breakfast Friday morning, the Elementary students held an assembly, highlighted by two brothers who were both graduates from New Haven High School and had served in the Army and Air Force.
