Washington, Mo. - Flawless uniforms, perfect lines, their appearance similar to a Marine drill team, and stone cold facial expressions describe the Marching Shamrocks.  New Haven’s Marching Shamrocks decades of success continued Saturday as they cleaned house for the second stratight week.

Last week at Sullivan New Haven took Correction: 2nd place for overall band and their drum line received first place honors.

It was no surprise that on Saturday the Marching Shamrocks received first place for overall band and once again the number one drum line.

Aside from the Marching Band’s tradition of excellence there is a reason you see people flock to corners of a parade route as the Marching Shamrocks approach to make their famous Texas turn.

Few marching bands do anything more than hang a left or right turn as if you were driving a care.

Congratulations to the Marching Shamrocks.
