St. Clair, Mo -- Earlier today, a Franklin County Deputy was serving a civil paper to a residence on Nappier Road, located four miles south of St. Clair off of Highway K, when he noticed a white male sitting inside a vehicle in the driveway.  The deputy also noticed a chemical smell associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

After further investigation, a methamphetamine lab was located inside the vehicle.  The County’s Narcotics unit responded to further investigate the scene and St. Clair Fire Department responded to assist with decontamination.

The only information currently being released about the subject that was in the vehicle is that he is 35 years old from New Haven, Mo.  Sherriff Gary Toelke said the suspect was arrested on outstanding warrants from St. Louis County and for manufacturing of methamphetamine.
