Louis Aaron Scott, 83, of Berger, Mo. passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Scott was born in Dardanelle, Arkansas on March 7, 1929, the son of the late Leonard and Bamie (Kirk) Scott.

He was the widower of Clara (Moore) Scott. They were married May 21, 1947 at New Madrid, Missouri.

Louis is survived by his children, daughter Louise Abrams of Salem, Wisconsin, four sons Aaron Scott of Owensville, Missouri, Larry Scott & wife Kathy of New Haven, Mo., Mark Scott of Union, Mo. and Randy Scott of Gerald, Mo., daughter Elizabeth Garlock of Berger, Mo., two brothers Gerald Scott of Caruthersville, Mo. and Jerry Scott of Paris, Texas and two sisters Kitty Shaw of Carlisle, Arkansas and Bobbie Jean Laskey of Hermann, 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Mr. Scott is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers Jimmy and Danny Scott.

He was the owner and operator of Kohl City Furniture Store in New Haven,Mo. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and he was a member of the American Legion Post 1000 in Jefferson City, Mo.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Mo.

Funeral Services will be held at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1st, with Rev. Bill Masters officiating.

Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery, New Haven, Mo.
