Mr. Robert "Bob" Groner, 64, of Berger, Missouri passed away Friday, June 29th, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Groner was born in Washington, Mo. on September 2, 1947, the son of the late George S. and Marie (Meyer) Groner.

Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.

Mr. Groner formerly worked as a Salesman at Chris Auffenberg Ford in Washington, Mo., and worked as a carpenter in St. Louis at Woerman Construction for over 20 years.

Mr. Groner was a farmer his whole life in the Berger area. Bob was devoted to the Rosary, a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, St. Paul's Church Council member, Knights of Columbus and the New Haven Lions.He also enjoyed the outdoors, farming, hunting, fishing and cooking.

He was the husband of Jeanne (Heitman) Groner, they were married April 4, 1970 at Immaculate Conception Church, Old Monroe.

Mr. Groner is survived by his wife Jeanne and by his children; son, Mark Groner and wife Debra of Hillsboro; Daughter, Michelle Pierceall and husband Bruce of Overland Park, Kansas; son, Brian Groner and wife Heidi of New Haven; son, Brad Groner and wife Jamie of Berger; son, Rob Groner and wife Erica of Hermann; and a son, Luke Groner of Berger.

He is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Vaughan & husband Chuck of Jefferson City; sister, Betty Fast & husband Dan of Jefferson City; sister, Carol Schaefer & husband Don of Hermann; sister-in-law, Marian Groner of Hermann; sister, Theresa Groner & husband Rob of Hallsville; sister, Paula Bunde & husband Brad of Overland Park, Ks.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roger Groner.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Berger, Mo. at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3rd, with Father John Deken officiating.

Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann, Mo.. There will be a rosary service Monday at 7:45 p.m.
