Gregory Martin Sheehan, Jr.
, 71, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.

Mr. Sheehan was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on January 4, 1941, the son of the late Gregory Martin, Sr. and Mary Jane (Hassman) Sheehan.

Gregory attended Vanderbilt University before serving 2 years in the US Army. After his military service he completed his undergraduate degree at Westminster College in Fulton. While at Westminster he belonged to Phi Kappa Psi. He then attended the University of Louisville where he received his law degree.

He was a member of the Missouri Bar since 1971, practiced law in New Haven for over 35 years, and served as New Haven Municipal Judge from 1983 to 2001. Gregory liked to watch sports, especially Cardinal baseball and he loved to fish.

Gregory is survived by a daughter Lisa Regeon & husband Paul of New Haven, five grandchildren, Stephanie Wiegers of Indianapolis, Indiana, Philip Wiegers of Owensville, Missouri, Celesse Smedley of New Haven, Michael Regeon of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Christina Regeon of Bowie, Maryland, a sister Lou Watkins & husband Julian of Louisville, Kentucky, two nieces Kim Couch & husband Rodney of Indianapolis, Indiana and Missy Rasco & husband Michael of Louisville, Kentucky, four great nephews and one great niece.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.
