UPDATED: One car accident leaves driver with serious injuries

New Haven, Mo – This afternoon at 3:20 p.m. New Haven Berger Fire Department and EMS responded to a motor vehicle accident, approximately four tenths of a mile east of New Haven on Highway 100.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling west when the vehicle went off the right side of the highway.  The vehicle then overturned after crashing into a tree.

According to the MSHP’s report, the driver was transported by New Haven EMS to Mercy Hospital in Washington, Mo with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was 50 year old Lisa Bybee of New Haven, Mo.
