Tyler Malone from Chamois was the winner of this year's 5k race.  Malone has actually won each of the five years.  Addie Mengwasser also from Chamois, was the female winner finishing with a time of 20:31.  This is the second year in a row she has won.

Brant Uthlaut from Hermann won the boys 13 and under division and finishing second overall with a time of 18:57.  Jonna Chisamore of Chamois won the girls 13 and under divison with a time of 26:58.

Lisa Gerlemann, coordinator, said, “This was the largest turn out in the past 5 years.  The first year we had only 11 runners and to have over 120 this year, is just awesome.  We had over 30 attendance prizes donated from local businesses and prize money and sponsorship from the Liquor Cabinet.  Mike Faris with ProRehab volunteered his time and members of New Haven EMS were also at the race to provide medical care if needed."

Gerlemann wanted to thank all the volunteers and all those who donated food, drinks and prizes.  Gerlemann said, “We could not have had such a successful race without their help.”
