Owensville, Mo. -- Cold, cloudy, and a slight breeze made conditions slightly difficult in today's Four Rivers Conference meet.  The Rocks had their eyes set on beating St. Clair, who they lost to by one point at Hermann, and winning conference for the first time in school history.

The Rocks had three finish in the top ten and earning All-Conference Honors. Seth Schenck came in second place in 17:38; Dominick Pataky ran his fastest time of the year (18:00) finishing in fifth place.  Zach Grater took tenth with a time of 18:38.

Overall the Rocks finished in second place, 11 points behind St. Clair. Throughout the race St. Clair seemed to be one spot a head of New Haven, with their top three runners finishing in first, fourth, and ninth.  The Rocks now focus on Districts, where their full potential will be tested.

The Rocks now move on to the District meet next Sat., Oct 29 at Vienna, Mo.Pictured above: Coach John Tucker trying to fire up Grater and Pataky as they run up hill.
