Having fun and raising money for a great cause.

New Haven, Mo.  - When a loved one is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, the effects on the family can be overwhelming. The reality that someone you love has such a devastating illness can be difficult on his or her loved ones.

The New Haven Care Center is hosting a Screwball Tournament this weekend to raise money in helping to find a cure.

This tournament began Friday evening and continues through Saturday.

If you have never seen a Screwball game then take advantage of Saturday’s beautiful weather, stop by Lions Field, and grab some BBQ.

It is quite entertaining.  We will have a complete story later this weekend about how much money was raised, and of course the Screwball Champions.

Every inning has a different set of rules, hence the term Screwball.
