Shamrocks to clash undefeated Valle Catholic for district title

Bismarck, Mo. - After injuring here shoulder and possibly her career, it could have not been more fitting that Peacut serve an ace to send the Shamrocks playing for a district title.

New Haven won the first set 25-23.  The Lady Shamrocks filled with energy and determination; New Haven has propelled themselves into the Class 1 District 5 District Championship Match.

Valle Catholic, the number one seed and undefeated with a record of 31-0.  Earlier they faced Chamois, demolishing them 25-9, 25-11.  Two years ago Valle Catholic defeated New Haven in the State Championship and last year finished second after losing to Eminence.

Valle Catholic and New Haven clashed two years ago in the Missouri Class 1 Sate Championship with Valle Catholic taking the title.

New Haven will look for sweet redemption in particularly for Kelsey Peacut.  She started as a sophomore on the 2010 team.  In 30 minutes she will get her chance to end the same team that took a state title from New Haven.
