Seth Schenck scored a career high of 21 points, draining a career high of five three-pointers, and tying a career best of six assists in Tuesday’s pounding on Grandview in their home opener with a final of 56-25, improving to 4-1.  The Shamrocks led 31-4 at halftime; New Haven’s starting five played very little in the second half, sitting out the entire fourth quarter.

The Lady Shamrocks won their third straight game on Monday, slipping past Washington 40-32.  Rachel Steinhoff scored a game high of 17 points while Emily Kallmeyer grabbed nine rebounds; one shy of her career high of ten rebounds, in New Haven’s win over Wellsville last week.

Friday night will be New Haven’s Winter Ball and it is expected to be a packed house, as New Haven will take on Montgomery County for the second time in two weeks.  The Shamrocks knocked the Wildcats off at 43-30 in the first round of last week’s Montgomery County Tournament.

Thursday night, the Lady Shamrocks travel to South Callaway looking for their third straight win before playing their first conference game and home opener against St. James.
