New Haven, Mo  2:48 p.m.  -This afternoon at 2:07 p.m., New Haven/Berger Fire Department and New Haven EMS received a report that a train had struck a utility truck east of the Miller Street crossing.

According to one of the workers, the train clipped their utility truck while maintenance was being done on the south track.  The train was traveling on the north track.

The train was blocking both the Olive Street and Miller Street crossings.  Seconds ago, we were informed that the train was moving and both crossings are now open.

The worker we spoke with said that they did not have a time frame but it was not expected to take an extended amount of time before they would have the train moved.

We are in the process of contacting Union Pacific Railroad for more information about the accident.

There were no reports of any injuries.
