UPDATE: Missing 14-year-old girl found at Milwaukee Hospital

Mon. Feb., 13 - According to authorities Brittany Jones was found late Sunday at a Milwaukee hospital after a S.A.R.A.A alert had been issued when her non-custodial father allegedly took her from Cardinal Glennon Hospital yesterday afternoon.

Police say the teen underwent a kidney transplant at Cardinal Glennon in 2010, and has recently been having some complications. They learned about the missing patient from hospital staff just after 2:00 p.m. yesterday.

Captain Jim Moran, with the St. Louis Police Department said, "A comment was made that the father was taking her to a different hospital.”

Captain Moran said, "When she left the hospital, she was still sick, still weak."

The case has been turned over to Illinois authorities.


A S.A.R.A.A. alert has been issued for 14-year-old Brittany Jones, who was taken by her father while in DFS protective custody at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis.

Officials say she will be in grave danger if she does not receive scheduled medical treatment by 9:45 tonight. She recently underwent a kidney transplant and needs medical attention.

She is described as a black female, 5'1 and 200 lbs and was last seen wearing light grey sweatpants, a red shirt, dark jackets, and black and white tennis shoes.

The father is Dana Jones, a black male. He is 5'10 and weights 160 lbs. He was wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans, and is bald but wearing a black hat.

They were seen leaving the hospital in a Blue Four-Door Ford Fusion with Ohio Plate EZE-9048.
