New Haven, Mo. – New Haven Fire and EMS crews responded early this morning around 1:50 a.m. for a report of a vehicle accident rollover on Highway YY, three quarters of a mile east of Highway185.

A black mid-size truck was traveling westbound on Highway YY.  Right as he was driving across a culvert crossing, the driver went over the westbound lane and off the roadway causing the vehicle to flip upside down.

The driver was only a few feet from going off and into the culvert that he clipped an object marker, causing it to fly nearly 60 feet in the air and land straight in the ground about 20 feet from the roadway.  The sign was standing straight up as if someone had placed it there.

Pictured right is how the object maker was found after the accident.

Franklin County Deputies were the first to arrive on the scene and advised responding units to disregard because the driver was uninjured.  The name of the driver has not been released and was the only individual in the truck at the time of the accident.
